Diablo 2 Unable to Validate Version
Recently i installed diablo 2 and its expansion from the blizzard website. The first time I ran the game, I was able to connect to battlenet but on subsequent sessions I receive the error "Unable to validate application version." I have repeatedly reinstalled and the exact symptoms persist.
My computer is an inspiron 1521 running windows vista. 1.8 GHz athlon 64 x2 , 2 gb ram, and ati radeon xpress. |

Re: Diablo 2 Unable to Validate Version
Hey did you ever get your battle.net to work? I am having the SAME exact problem, and all the "tech support" that blizzard is giving me isn't doing anything to remedy the situation. I downloaded both just like you, worked first time, then wouldn't validate again... If you got this working, please drop me a line, I would really appreciate it...

Re: Diablo 2 Unable to Validate Version
I actually got it to work by reinstalling in a different directory then the standard program file. I ended up using my documents lol. Im guessing i might have some spyware or something
