Forwarding Ventrilo
Hey
I've got a friend who is on a mac book, and they can use ventrilo fine, however our guilds server uses a codec that mac-ventrilo doesn't support yet. So I've decided to see if I can try and run two versions of vent, one connected to the guild server, and the other connected to my server. I would then hope to forward what was heard on the guild server and play it out on my server. I've got as far as two version of vent running, one to each server, but alas I'm a bit stuck at how to go about forwarding the sound over. If anyone knows of some way i can do this that would be awesome. Btw I'm running windows xp. Thanks an take care |

Re: Forwarding Ventrilo
If you know the the guy that monitors or has admin for the vent server he can change the codec to one that is supported by all OS's. Speex is one that is supported on both. Or see if there is a 3rd party codec pack for Mac that allows the use of XP codecs to run on it.
