Problem with need for speed carbon

I got a new computer and just installed NFS carbon on it. The installation went flawless. I try to play the game and the game speed and controls are insanely fast! Does anyone know why this may be happening?

Re: Problem with need for speed carbon

Hi, welcome to TSF.

This problem is very apparent in older games when they're played on newer computers.

Two things I can think of at the moment.
1. Turn all the graphics to Max
2. http://www.cpukiller.com/ might help.
