Age of Mythology issue

Hi.

I've been having a problem since I tried to reinstall AoM.
It goes well with the first two videos after you run the game, but in the screen with the game menu I can only see the arrow-shaped mouse pointer on a black background. I could play but without seeing a thing.

What's up with that?

Thnx.

Re: Age of Mythology issue

Had similar, I found that applications running in background caused it. To install/re-install I closed Anti Virus, Firewall (Comodo) played havoc, Spam filters, and Freeram (a memory freer up) I leave them shut down whilst playing single campaigns. Hope this helps. Also I hear that non genuine discs will cause this problem also.
