Age of Conan, insanely low FPS.

Hey guys, i've been to this site quite a few times with poblems in the past, from google searches etc. So i finally decided to sign up and try and figure out this little problem of mine regarding AoC - Age of Conan.

At the moment, i'm out of a decent rig, and just using one of my relatives comp. I have full access to the comp, including upgrading etc.

First i thought i'd start off by posting the specs, then the problem.

P.S. Not the most educated when it comes to components and the more technical aspects, so forgive me if I simply don't understand something...however basic it may be.

Processor: Intel(R) Pentium4 D Processor 935 (3.2GHZ) In device manager, 2 of these are running.
Memory: 3Gig DDR2
Hard Drive: 320
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce 7500LE
OS: Vista (32-Bit) SP1

This is what the problem is. After installing and patching ra ra ra, i entered the game, created my character etc, then during AND after the opening scene, i was having some insanely low FPS..around 7fps. This is on low as well. Around 20 minutes later, trying to fiddle around with the advanced settings as well trying some stuff... and lowering it to the complete minimal(shaders, everything) to the point where it looks like half-life, i still only managed to get around 10-12 fps.

Just wondering if anyone knows some possible fixes, or what component i could possibly upgrade for a significant increase. Any support and feedback is great appreciated.

On a side note. Not expecting to play it on high with max draw distance etc, but at least something passible...and playable for that matter.

Hi J-San, welcome to TSF.

I'm not entirely sure about this, but I don't think your graphics cards meets the minimum requirements for the game.

The minimum specs require a 6600+

That's probably one of the most frustrating parts. I meet the minimum specs. Not expecting miracles on minimum, but 7fps is crazy :(
