PC Freezes only when playing games
I've recently built a PC for gaming. My system runs perfectly smooth, but only when not playing any game.. web surfing, installing programs, and any other general applications... I left my PC running over night for a download and it didn't crash.
But, when I play a game, after a little while my computer completely freezes requiring a manual shut down. At first I thought it was a graphics card problem... took it back and indeed it wasn't working properly. I got to replace my 9600 video card with e-GeForce 9600 GTX. And I went ahead and got a cool new water cooling heat sync for my CPU. Yet, still the same problem. I'm at a loss of what to do.  My processor is running at about 20 degrees C while at idle. My power supply is 650 watts. My system info is attached to the post... don't know how it works. Thanks a bunch in advance for any help!  |
