OS: Windows XP X64 SP2

Fable: TLC memory issue / startup failure

Hello all this is my first post, and most annoying issue.
I read your tips on the sticky to try to resolve issue, but to no luck.

PC Specs:
Windows XP Pro X64 SP2
AMD Athalon 64 X2 6000+
4 GB Mushkin RAM
500GB HDD
850W PSU
2x Nvidia 8800GT 512mb SLI
Creative XFI extreme Gamer
Asus Ice block cpu cooler (don't quote me on the name can't remember exactly)
2x 20x DVD RW drives

Two days ago I purchased Fable for the PC. I installed it just fine, no hick ups or anything. However when I go to play the game I first get an error that the program did not detect my RAM or Virtual RAM, or in its case doesn't have enough. Now above I gave you my system set up, and you see i have plenty of RAM to run anything. Anyways it gives me two options 'continue anyway' or 'Run in "safe mode"'. If I click 'continue anyway', I receive another error, that the game didn't exit properly so i hi continue again.

At this point the game starts, the videos start to play, skipping those I start a new game. Once it autosaves the intro movie plays only BG sound no voice over. Then bam game crashes.

Now if I go the safe mode way it still errors. However if I disable my sound card, then do the safe mode way, it will play, just very badly.

So I ask you all for your help in determining way this game will not detect my RAM, so i can finally play this game in all its glory.

Trouble shooting so far:

Disable sound card
Restart pc
Restart pc 'clean boot'
Turn off all non essential software
Disable Network connections
Disable themes
Reinstalled game twice
Read through MS KBs
Contacted MS Tech Support (says it was a virtual memory paging issue)
-- Of what I can tell virtual memory working fine have between 2GB and 4GB set
All Graphic and sound card drivers up to date
Direct X up to date

Please help me?
