Journeyman Project 3 DVD
Hi I'm new to the forum. Having trouble with The Journeyman Project 3 DVD.
I have installed it on my XP system and it installs and runs ok, but for some reason it will not run in Full Resolution Mode I just get a black screen for the movies, although the sound plays fine. I have to set it to Line Doubling or Line skiping mode, the game then runs with a few miner glitches. I purchased the DVD version so I could play it in the higher resolution as I already have the cdrom version. I have tried to play the game using window compatability (setting it to Win 95, 98) and I get an error saying "Quicktime could not initialize. The program will terminate". So I then downloaded Virtual PC and installed a Win 98 and Win 95 virtual systems. I installed the game on these and I was able to play it in full resolution. Huray! oh so I thought as now the mouse movement in the game is ludicrously fast when scrolling the panaromic view on both systems. Also the sound on the win 95 system was very poor. Can't figure out why this is happening. Can anyone help? My System spec is as follows. WIndows XP SP2 Intel Core 2 Quad cpu 4gb ram Nvidia 9600 graphics card Creative Sounblaster X-Fi Extreme sound card. I would prefer to Play it in XP, so if anyone can solve the high resolution problem I would be extremly grateful. |
