In the Light Sleeper campaign I suddenly get a "You are defeated " message. I am not being attacked, no enemies present, all characters who should be there, are there. Hit "replay scenario" and almost soonest the same thing happens . Any ideas what may be wrong?

Are there any known problems to be encountered if more than one MS game installed? eg AOE @ and AOM plus Titans.Should only one game be installed and played at any one time?

Re: Age of Mythology

Hi, and welcome to TSF.

For future reference, please post just one thread per problem - it helps us keep track of things.

To answer your second question: no, there is no reason why you can't have two MS games installed at the same time (or games made by any other company). I currently have about 30 games installed on my system, with no ill effects. Games simply don't cause problems in that way.

As for your problem: firstly, is your game a legit version, or did you download it or copy it from somewhere? Are you using any no-CD cracks or similar? Cracks often cause problems like this, as do non-legit copies.

If you have a legit copy, and you aren't using a crack or anything, then click on "Common Game Issues" in my signature, and run through all the steps listed. Let us know how you go.

Re: Age of Mythology

Thanks for your help. Sorry about two issues just a newbie. My copies of AOM and AOE ! and @ are genuine issues. Have Product ID's etc. Discs appear all OK no scratches, cracks etc. Will try your 10 point plan when time available. Have DirectX9 which should be OK? Only on dial up now so download too big. Problem maybe something in background. Thanks again.

Re: Age of Mythology

Just to clarify, when I said "no-CD cracks". I was talking about software, not cracks on the disc. Cracks are illegal modifications of the game .exe file to make it run without needing the disc. However, it sounds like you aren't using any, which is good. Let us know how you go with the steps.
