Issues with low FPS
My old Nvidia Geforce 7600GS 256mb was running just fine until the fan stopped working... so I bought a new Nvidia 8800 GTS 320mb AND a new power supply 650 Watt to support it... my fps is laggier than before... what the hell?
When I play Team Fortress 2, it's almost unbearable to play due to my fps dropping to 10 when people are near me and up to 20-30 when i'm by myself... I used to have WoW running in the background AND play TF2 just fine with my old card... what is going on? I installed the drivers that came on the disk and then went to Nvidia's website and downloaded the forceware. Also now i've downloaded Divx Codecs... also tampering with settings, turning vsync on & off, antialiasing on & off, anisotrophic filtering... etc, what do I do no? |
