Re: New Build Freezes with Games
Your +12V reading is fine.
Reinstall your chipset drivers from the motherboard CD, then reboot. Download ATI Catalyst 8.4 from here. You need to have Microsoft .NET Framework already installed for the Catalyst Control Center to work. Download from here. Install and reboot. Then to install Catalyst, go to Start > Control Panel > System > Hardware tab > Device Manager. Click the [+] next to Display Adapters, right click the graphics card entry and select Uninstall. Close down all windows and programs. Reboot and keep tapping F8 while the computer is starting until you see the Advanced Options menu. Select VGA mode. When Windows has finished loading, the display will look strange. This is only temporary while using the standard VGA driver. Disable your antivirus and install the new driver. Reboot to complete.

Re: New Build Freezes with Games
Okay, after doing all of that, it still freezes up. However, when the game locks up, it brings me back to my desktop and tells me my graphics card has stopped responding to commands. It's a step up from rebooting, at least.
