issues with Battlefield 2142 and Rome: Total War
i'm having issues with a few online games such as Battlefield 2142 and Rome: Total War. the problem is one resembling minor lag issues, however a) my internet connection is optimal (i never had a problem before) and b) this issue occurs playing offline as well.
the issues started happening around the time that i unfortunately experienced a motherboard battery failure. i have since replaced the battery, however i may have missed a critical step regarding replacing CMOS values after the problem (i wasn't overclocking before and i'm still not now). i have also tried updating all my video drivers, etc. ....i have no idea!?!?!?! i am able to operate normally just surfing internet/word processing, etc. (all the necessary stuff), the issue just occurs with high-CPU involvement games such as those i listed. any help would be much appreciated!!! thanks!!! |

Re: issues with Battlefield 2142 and Rome: Total War
i got speedfan like you said and checked my temperatures/voltages. at normal operation it says i'm running a hot 55C at 1.66V. i don't know how to lower my voltage any lower though.....in BIOS i can't run at a lower voltage level.
