Memory: 3070MB RAM
Hard Drive: 160 GB
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT
Monitor: Generic PnP Monitor
Sound Card: Speakers (Realtek High Definition Audio)
Speakers/Headphones: Fatal1ty Gaming Headset
Keyboard: Logitech
Mouse: Logitech
Mouse Surface: Mouse Pad
Operating System: Windows Vista™ Home Premium (6.0, Build 6000) (6000.vista_rtm.061101-2205)


Hey, i have had bf2142 for 2 yrs now, on and xp and vista system, xp worked fine, then ive been playing it on vista fine, no problems, and after a month of not playing i descided to put the disc in and have a run, and it got to the black screen just before it loads the battlewalker with the ea sign, then it crashes to desktop, with the vista thing where it goes trying to resolve problem, ive tried everything, shutdown, reinstall, and i have the 1.4 patch. please help,

P.S battlefield 2 works fine.

My friend had the same problem. Turns out he needed to install a new driver. Ati.com has lots of Vista drivers, just install the kind you need and it should work.
