call of duty sound files

for some reason my call of duty game does not work (i easily meet system req.) and i have no clue why. It is 2 sound files are missing or damaged. any help would be great, thanks

You could try reinstalling the game without other programs in the background.

First, uninstall the game. Then go to start and run, or hit the windows key + R. Type msconfig.

Go to the services tab and check hide all Microsoft services, then click disable all. Then go click the startup tab, and hit disable all again. Press ok and accept to restart the computer.

Install the game again and try to see if it works. If it does not work still, it could be that the CD is damaged.
