Keyboard Randomly Freezing for 3-5 Seconds

Whenever I play any game such as Warcraft 3 my keyboard has brief periods where it sort of lags. My mouse will work fine and I can still control the game that way, but anything I type does not show untill my keyboard decides to come back into reality and work again. And if you know about the hotkeys in Warcraft 3, you can understand how this can be a problem.

dude , somehting to do with keyboard settings.... im guessing ur keyboard has a usb plug? probably doesnt matter.... Im more than not sure that ur keyboards settings are multi language....how do i say this... maybe 1 of these tech guys can guide u.....somewhere in ur keyboard settings. like keyboard language settings shortcut keys.... needs to be disables... thats the cause of the slow down....happened to me...for every game wc cs s. Try searching it in control panel... im not too sure... but its gotta be it.

Are your keyboard's usb plug connected to a usb hub?bcause to much connection into the hub will create such prblem..

i dont have any usb's in my keyboard.... just a normal keyboard with a cord to the back of my computer without a hub
