call of duty 1 and 2 can't find cd

[solitaryman]

i have deinstalled and reinstalled both programs and it keeps telling me to eject and close cd but still doesn't see it. i have included all the specs below about my system. i would like some ideads on this matter if you could help.

tried that already but stillno avail i am wondering if it has something todo with my sata cd and dvds' but it only happens with call of duty programs and not any others.

This is a real tough one here these are the only games that don't work on this puter and it might still be the sata cds and dvd instead of ide drives thats about the only thing that i can think of but oi can go to the drive and get it to start from that drive just doesn't want to go past call of duty screen and says it can't find the drive

sata can't be set in bios it is cotrolled with a nivia sata card with 4 inputs
