very strange problem
ok. i have a problem running a LEGALLY obtained psx emulator and bios. i own the real thing, and got the emu from a legit source (megagames.com)
it used to work perfect with a saitek 2500 controller. analog worked. rumble worked. i recently got a game elements gge909 joypad (both pads are usb btw) but ever since i uninstalled the saitek drivers and installed the gge909 drivers and plugged in the controller NO PSX EMU WORKS NOW i have tried different emu's going back to the old controller, reinstalling windows etc. nothing worked. the emu still opens and runs but no matter what i do i cannot use the controller as long as the emu is in analog mode. it used to work with the saitek in analog mode. not anymore.no controller or emu works now. i can still use digital but not analog. if i tell it to run bios (emulate no disk inserted) i can move the playstation cursor and navigate using digital controls but as soon as i activate analog, cursor dissappears and i can no longer do anything but press escape to exit the emu. i have used every single emu i can find but none work anymore. even wiping my drive did not help. any ideas? thanks in advance. btw i use xp pro service pack 2 fully updated on an acer 3618awlci laptop Last edited by riven_cole; 04-09-2008 at 08:32 PM. |
