Battlefield 2
Hey,
I've got a similar problem. When I first installed battlefield 2 it was perfect! It ran really smoothly and was no problem at all! However, when the next time I want to use it comes around it doesn't boot up. It comes up with the battlefield screen. ![]() Once this has come up it then shows an Error Message box that Microsoft implimented into Windows XP to really anoy everyday XP users. ![]() If I click on to the blue "Click here" button then it leads me to this: ![]() Then if I click on the first blue "Click here" button it leads me to this: ![]() Now the large scroll box at the top goes on for a while. So I won't copy all of that text, but you can see from the picture there's alot of it. So, what have I done so far? Well I've uninstalled and then reinstalled the game which didn't help the problem. So I reinstalled the patch update which didn't help either. I thought that the patch could be corrupt so I'm re-downloading it now. If this helps I'll let you guys know. Any thoughts on how I could fix this mess? Cheers, |

Re: Battlefield 2 error
Hey, it's me again. I fixed it! Typical isn't it! Anyway, this is what I did:
I went here: http://files.filefront.com/Battlefie.../fileinfo.html and downloaded the patch. Then I installed it and then re-booted. I then double clicked on my BattleField2 icon and prayed that it'd load. 'Low and behold, load it did! Cheers, |
