PC problem- sloooow. Applies to but is not limited to: Counter Strike
The problem's a little tough to explain, but here goes:
After I installed a music driver named Rhapsody on my PC (just a school project), I recorded some music to use for school. I noticed some slight lagging in recording the music. Not long after that I attempted to play counter strike. I noticed stronger lagging. (I thought it might have been spyware from all the maps I downloaded, but after I fixed the malware problems, the computer still lags) Now, after a few hours my computer has been on, it suffers extreme slowdown to a point when even the basic windows sounds loop, freeze, and just go whacky. (Before it was able to stay on for days without the problem.) Sounds no longer play normally, and it was hard for me even to type this thread up. While typing, it freezes, registers more letters that I want, and dltes or a long time even if I just tap the backspace. Does someone have a suggestion for fixing this problem? It doesn't happen for a few hours since the computer has been on but afterward it slows down so much I can't type or play sounds!

ok, this problem is common to every body who had malware in windows, so if u cleaned the malware, try to use a registry cleaner, search for them in google, I recommend registry mechanic...
if that doesn't solve the problem, try to defragment the hard disk, or even do a Format, yes a Format...... I had this problem b4... a Format did me good |

Please download PC Wizard and install (from my sig). Then go to FILE, SAVE AS and click OK. Then save the text file and copy its contents into this thread. Also include what Power Supply unit you have (make and model).
