Middle of the Earth 2 Vista Problems

Hi there,
I have been having a huge problem with my vista and LOTR middle of earth pc game I just bought.

I keep getting the message "Please insert the correct CD-Rom, select ok and restart the application"

I have changed it to run in -compatibilty mode and as an administator.....nothing has worked......

Can someone please, please help me??

Have you tried starting it whilst the CD-ROM is in the cd drive?

Yes - I just tried to run while cd is in..........no success.........and I am getting really frustrated.............
