Help with ingame chat and games

HELLO!!! this is my second post on tech support and so far ive been helped alot, well i have one problem, when ever i talk ingame on my microphone in a game called counter strike source the microphone is all staticy but in ventrillo its fine, in screen recording programs its fine, in the recorder that windows comes with its fine, but its all staticy in game, is this a problem with my pc (which i highly doubt) or is it steam just messing everything up like they always do?:P

and my second questiion is, what is a very popular game with some half decent graphics and will run on my computer i run a:
2.4 ghz intel processor
768 mb of ram
512 mb nvidia e-geforce 7600gt video card
and windows XP

AND ONE MORE THING thats sort of off topic,

is my video card suposed to heat up to 60 degrees celcius?

If the in-game voice chat is bad you'd probably be better off just using Vent.

I have the 256MB version of your video card and 60c is within normal operating parameters.

I had two of them in SLI but the fan has gone out on one. The lifetime warranty is as great as the cards, though!
