display problem during actual play

i have this game called uprising:join or die and it wont download on xp? but it worked on win.98' how do i get it to load?

i just figured it out do this...

To run the Program Compatibility Wizard:

1.
Click Start, and then click Help and Support.

2.
Click Fixing a problem, and then click Application and software problems.

3.
Under Fix a problem click Getting older programs to run on Windows XP.

4.
Read the instructions and then click the Program Compatibility Wizard

uprising: join or die is the game which was made for win. 95 i ran the compatibility wizzard and was able to get to to install on xp home....the game loads to the menu screen which level to go to ect. the Loading level screen works as well but as soon as the level opens it is scrunched up to the top of the screen i've tried the different settings in the compatibility tab/colors/resoultion now what?....i had it working once by messing around with the settings but it didnt work the next time i opened it...my computer exceeds the requirments no problems there....please help!

Hey i know that the game uprising went to abandonwre. i was wondering if anyone knows where to get a version of the game that isnt in german. i was able to download it but it was in german. i had the game but my brother broke it. please let me know if anyone has one or knows where to get one.

i actually paid and downloaded the game from that site but its was in a different language. the game options and the words were in a different language. i didnt know if u could change that somehow

Does anyone know why the version i downloaded is in another language or if there is someway to fix that. If not does anyone know where to get an engliah version. thank you kindly

That link koala gave is for the English version I think. I'm just going by the description under his post.

I don't think it's possible to change the language.

i have a problem with RCT3. the screen is black when i choose any thing that builds coasters. i hear sounds and i see like the outline of people and coasters nothing else but a few lights. wat shuld i do?
