Battlefield 2 problems

Hello, my little brother got a new laptop last week with an onboard graphics card. I bought him battlefield 2 yesterday and well I was aware of the fact that his graphics card wasn't on the list onf supported cards but I mean the game is like 2 years old so I thought it would work anyway.

It installed fine but when I try and load the game it acts as if it loading Rther big picture saying battlefield 2 comes up then the screen goes black for less than half a second then jsut reverts back to windows as if nothing has happened no error message nothing.

I don't know much about computers but all I can think of is that the graphics card is what is fecking it up. any suggestions woul be appreciated.

Thanks in advance, Jack

Ps. his laptop is running vista x32
