Exclamation In-Game Lag

Hey guyz, new to the forums....
Im kinda sick of this and im really at the point of throwing my Comp out my window, just to see it splat, and crumble. Im kinda computer Illiterate, but i know more than the average person i guess...

Anyway I play the Game Counter-Strike 1.6 for 2 years now, and i dont want to stop playing
Problems:

My ms spikes over 250+ seems like every minute or so

Then my Fps drops below 100

then ppl teleport, and/or they hit me, and i teleport were they hit me socalled, so if i run away they shoot, and for my screen im behind a wall, then i just get glitch out and die, its very lame

i play in decent pinged servers 40 or less, and i spike...dont know why...

Re: In-Game Lag

Your problems seem very network related. Maybe some other program uses your connection every minute or so and causes the lag spikes? Have you scanned for viruses and spyware?

Re: In-Game Lag

I would also try uninstalling any antivirus or antispy programs on your computer. If you have norton, use the norton removal tool.
