Splinter Cell Double Agent black screen at start of level 1
hey there all,
Ive got a weird problem - I installed the game - meet the minimum requirements - played the tutorial training thing - no probs - I start a new game and it starts to load - plane flying around - loading arrow turning - looks good - then all of a sudden it stops moving - my screen goes black and nothing happens - no matter what I do I cant get out of it - only thing I can do is restart my comp - anyone ever heard of this? thank you very much for your time |

wow - is this a stumper? or did I just not give enough info - Im running xp, 3 gigs ram, an athlon dual and a radeon HD2600 - all good enough to run it as per the games specs - this problem is driving me crazy due to the fact that I cant find a similar prob anywhere.
ANY info would probably change my life - thanks for reading... Don |

Uninstall the driver
Use driver cleaner to clean up Ati drivers. Resart in safe mode (tap F8 on restart) Reinstall driver in safe mode. Update direct x Update your os post results. If its not working still, please download pc wizard and install it. Go to file, save as and click ok, then copy that text into this thread.
