Cold Fear resolution (transfer from hardware)

Hi, everyboy. I got a problem with my game, Cold Fear. I have new LG screen on 1400*900 resolution and I was wondering if anybody knows how can I play the game in 1400*900 resolution (Note: There's no ini. file to edit). Please help me as soon as posible ! ! ! Is there any program to edit my game resoulution.

If you are using a VGA cable to connect your monitor (usually a blue connector) there will be no way to display that resolution. If, however, you are using a DVI cable (usually white connectors) there should not be a problem with displaying that resolution.

EDIT: I checked widescreengamingforum.com, and evidently there seems to be no way to display the game in that resolution. Sorry, I misunderstood the problem. Sounds like the only way to get the game to display without stretching is to use video card res scaling (eg. like that in the nvidia control panel.) Sorry man, I am using a SyncMaster 941BW at the same resolution, 1440*900. Guess I won't purchase that game!
