lag waves
i have been having problems with almost every game there is for quite some time now with lag, though the lag comes in waves, its fine at first and then massive lag comes, stops and back again e.c.t

as i said before i have problems as well with games such as crysis, supreme commander, overlord and more (i play those singelplayer or try)
and atm im connected to the network using a wireless PCI card but even if i go laning with my friends and then use a lan cable i have same trouble so its not a network issue btw sorry for the l8 reply i wass w8ing for a mail notification but i got none so i got suprised when i looked for fun and saw replies Last edited by Natherul; 03-11-2008 at 12:16 PM. |

What PSU do you have? Wattage, brand and model.

Thats your problem then. You need 26A to be safe. Get a new PSU ASAP. See PSU Info in my sig to help you choose.
EDIT: you are reading the 10A supply amps aren't you? ie 230V 10A. Can you open your machine and look at the sticker on it and tell us what the 12V rail Amps are? I cant find any info on this PSU.

I am having a problem like this but it isn't lag because it happens on singleplayer games.
Open up task manager and go to performance and then play your game and after one of the lag spikes happens alt tab out and look at the performance chart and see if the CPU usage went to the very top when the spike was happening. |

i got myself a Corsair Hx620 watts now and i gonna look l8er today if it works better, see when i first installed it my mothercard went to the comp-heaven or something...

i forgot to say that the motherboard i have no is identical so i would not have to have fuzz with microsoft.... well i can tell ya also now that i still have the problems at least in Supreme Commandder....what in the name of ... is wrong?
