problems with stinkin diablo II

i get through the installation fine, but then when i click on the desktop icon to play the game it tells me to put the play disk in..okay i put the disk in and it just keeps saying it!! its really starting to bother me because even the blizzard website doesnt work when i go to tech support...

Do you have another computer you could test installing it on? Is there any scratches on your game cd?
