Priston Tale

So, I'm trying to play Priston Tale again. Whenever I start it up, my screen goes black, it looks like the resolution changes (shifting screen thing), and nothing happens. Before you say it's any of the typical issues. I have XP installed on a partition drive on my computer. I've run Priston Tale from there, and it ran fine, but I don't have sound on XP. For whatever reason, XP refuses to detect/install my sound drivers. I ran Priston Tale FROM the Vista drive while I was on XP, it ran. Any help with either the Vista issue or the sound would be greatly appreciated.

I have exactly the same problem. Have no prob running it on xp. But on vista the screen goes black for a sec and it looks like some graphic issue, but cant see why it should be that.
