[SOLVED] Computer crash with Counter-Strike Source

I've recently reformatted my computer and since then, I haven't been able to play Counter-Strike Source.

At first, I thought it was a DirectX problem because I was receiving errors, and then crashing to the desktop. The error I was getting was:
Internal driver error in IDirect3DDevice::Present()

I went to Microsoft's website and got the latest directX release and installed it. It solved the crash-to-desktop problem BUT now, I'm crashing and my computer automatically reboots.

I have:
1) Checked Microsoft for the latest updates
2) Checked nvidia for the latest driver updates (I'm up to date)

I'm ONLY getting this with Counter-Strike Source. I can play any other game with very little problems. I've also uninstalled my video card (Nvidia) driver and reinstalled them with no success.

Re: Computer crash with Counter-Strike Source

I seem to have fixed the issue. Simply uninstalled Steam (and Source) and reinstalled Steam (and Source). Played for a few hours and no problems at all.
