Bioshock on my laptop

Hello, My name is Jake and I am having a problem with Bioshock for windows. Everytime I try to start the game it gives me this message. Keep in mind I have a laptop. An Asus
G1

The application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect. Please see the application event log for more detail.

When I go to the applications event log it gives me this message.

Activation context generation failed for "C:\Program Files\2K Games\Bioshock\Builds\Release\Bioshock.exe". Dependent Assembly
Microsoft.VC80.CRT,processorArchitectture="x86",publicKeyToken="1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b",type="win32",version=8.0.50727.762" could not be found. Please use sxstrace.exe for detailed diagnosis.

Do you know what might be wrong? I would appreciate any help. Thank you

More than likely your laptop isn't going to be able to handle playing Bioshock.

Please post your specs of your laptop just in case though.
