FRAPS problem with games

As the title says i've got a problem with Fraps(video recording program).
Whenever I record ingame while playing or just a demo i'll have capped 15fps,i've tried turning down graphics didn't help, fraps settings don't affect this too.Changing the max fps setting in fraps doesn't help ,at least ingame.

If i record and then watch the video (with Windows media player) it will show as if i had normal fps,but the speed is set on fast turning down the video speed to slow shows that i have 15 fps.

I've frapsed in lot's of games everywhere it's the same problem.

Re: FRAPS problem with games

Do you have multiple harddrives in your machine?

A lot of times Fraps issues lie in trying to record videos from games on the same harddrive which Windows is running from and the game is running from.

If you have a seperate harddrive make fraps use that harddrive instead for recording.

Re: FRAPS problem with games

No,i've only got one harddrive.

I'm using the newest version of fraps, games i've tried recording range from old to new and everywhere same shi...

hardware specs:AMD Sempron 2500+
Radeon 9600
1280 DDR2 RAM

I don't think the issue is in my hardware because in the past i've had a crappier computer and it frapsed at more fps.
