Chop Problem Help Please

Hey how are you, I have a little(big) problem on my pc with CoD 4, Everything was working great but all of a sudden the game starting chopping. I mean like chop that stops the game for 2 to 3 seconds. When i play cod 4 it seems like my pc cant pull it. And thats impossible, because cod 4 was working great on the highest settings possible and i didnt chage any of the settings. i just tried playing one day and it started chopping out of nowhere. Maybe it was something i installed on my pc ? All my other games work great such as Crysis on highest settings. This happened to me on my old PC and i seemed to have fixed it by Uninstalling Video Drivers Completely and Reinstalling them. I tried it on this pc and it didnt work. Thanks for any quick feedback.

My Pc Specs:

E6850 Duo Core 3ghz processor
8800 GTX EGVA Card 768mb
4gb Ram SLI Ready
150gb 10000rpm WD Drive

Re: Chop Problem Help Please

Open your pc and use a new can of air to get rid of all the dust that may be collecting inside. Then check your temps. Its possible your pc may be overheating. Is anything overclocked?
