slow mouse movment

when i am playing counter strike or anyother game like that my mouse movement will get really sticky for a bit then clear up. it jumps around instead of moving smoothly however it doenst do it all the time and it doesnt affect the rest of the game play at all.i have a 2.4 with 2 gigs of ram lots or hard drive space running windows xp pro and recently boust a radeon x1050. my mosue doesnt give me any problems with anything else only in game play.

Is your mouse wireless? Or is it wired? If it is wired is it USB or PS/2?

it is usb. i just updated video card drivers although its a lot bet is still does it a bit

Do you have a converter to make it PS/2?

Are there any IRQ conflicts on your PC?
