Gaming problem

This is a 2 part question.

1. Whenever i start Red Alert 2 the first time i start it it stops responding. When i start it again it works fine. It will run all the single player missions fine and play in multiplayer until the end of any multiplayer game, then it will repetedly freeze and unfreeze for a couple seconds at a time until i manually restart my computer. The game use to work fine until one day it just started doing this.

2. When i start all games sush as Diablo 2 or Delta Force 2 or even windows Pinball it will load and then immediately minimize to the taskbar. If i click on it it will bring up a black screen for a second then minimize again. I can get the game to run if i click on the game in the taskbar many times quickly, then it will maximize.

Can anyone help me out?

what are your system specs, since it "just started happening" what changed from when it was working to when it stop,

Uninstall and reinstall your video card drivers. Also update to the latest direct X if possible.

I fixed the problem withe RA2 but my games still minimize on me.
