The Orange Box Install Problem

Yes, another problem that someone else is having with the orange box installation. My operating system is Windows XP home edition and I have all the reqs for the game to be run. I have tried to install all the games around 4 or 5 times now and everytime my PC seems just to crash completely...

I go to turn it back on and for the first maybe 2 minutes of attempting, it fires up and after 10 seconds, just shuts down again. it has done this before randomly. very frustrating to keep waiting for the insdtallation then shuts down to have to start it all over again.

If anyone has any suggestions or help - would be much appreciated.

check your tempretures and voltages in the bios
post your system specs including the power supply details
brand
wattage
12v+ line amps
