Re: MY first build- Gaming issues.
I never recommend updating bios unless you have to. That being said,
have you went into bios and made adjustments as per you machine? When you flashed it set bios to defaults, which may or may not be your problem, that is where I would look next. When you formatted did you reinstall mobo drivers?

Re: MY first build- Gaming issues.
i have not yet reinstalled mobo drivers, i have trierd to update my the bios again but with different drivers but still not working. what settings in bios did you want me to look at? i did have the rig overclocked and stable at one point before i updated bios. (bios is now default)
i have all ways been confused with drivers, what drivers should you update reg. and what ones should you leave till you really need to? thx |

Re: MY first build- Gaming issues.
you only update the bios when it offers something you need
flash it back to the original bios and see if the problem disappears

Re: MY first build- Gaming issues.
you said it was overclocked and stable before you flashed your bios, did you overclock it again with the same settings? if so you may want to try running it at stock speed.
your bios version should be on the motherboard specs, check MB manual and/or website for bios version. if you need a part number its on your MB somewhere cant help you finding that |
