sims 2 help please help
Hey was wondering if you could please help me. I have been trying to install sims 2 on my computer. I have windows vista home premium, intel(R) core(TM) 2 cpu, 4400 @ 2ghz 2ghz, memory 2046 mb, 32 bit operating system, nvidia GeForce 8600 GT Graphics card. I cant seem to update the sims as its installing and i have d/l the update from ea games and when half way through either it has error or wont even start, also sometimes it says can't copy disc. Can you please help a desperate person, lol :(

Thankyou very much but i finally worked out how to do it. If anyone else is having trouble they can try this : Before installing sims 2 > click Start > All Programs > Accessories
> Run > type in MSCONFIG > Tools (tab) > select Disable UAP > launch > restart Windows> Then reinstall sims 2 while this is disabled > update sims 2 > Then turn back on. Worked great for me. |
