The witcher keeps crashing

Windows Vista™ Home Premium
Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU 3.00GHz
3070MB RAM
DirectX 10
Two NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT

My problem is this: everytime i play the witcher it always crashes after some time and all my computer is saying is that the Witcher has stopped working.

I have tried to install the newest patch and the windows patch recomended but nothing helps nothing at all.

Any advice at what to do?

ohh and i did try to update my video driver didn´t help.

the witcher doesn't know how to use 3gigs of ram soo... set your page file or sumthing
