Flight Simulator 2002 Professional
The instructional movies haven't worked for my FS 2002 every since I bought a new computer with Windows Vista and loaded the game on it. I get the audio, but no movie. It worked fine in Xp. Everything else about the game seems to work fine with Vista (so far!). I would greatly appreciate any help anyone could give me.
Thanks! Mike |

Re: Flight Simulator 2002 Professional
Hi Mike, welcome to TSF
It sounds like you don't have the correct video codec installed in Vista. Download and install the K-Lite Codec Pack, reboot and try the videos again. Which media player are you using to view the files?

Re: Flight Simulator 2002 Professional
Thanks for the welcome, and the info. I did download and install the K-Lite Codec Pack (the full install), and rebooted, but it still does the same thing. I "think" I am using Windows Media Player for the videos, but with Vista, I'm not sure! I know it keeps wanting to make i-tunes my default media player, but I keep saying, "no, I want Windows Media Player." But sometimes I go back into things and see i-tunes is back again!
