Madden 08 game speed issue

Hello, I have installed my Madden 08 and everything seemed fine. It booted and I selected all my normal options. Went to play a game and .. well everything is .. fast. Too fast the players gestures and stretching motions are like jerks and tweaks and the game play itself is so fast I can not effectively play. I can not find a way to slow it down. Does Anyone have an idea of how to fix this?
