DirectX 9 games under Vista

None of my directx 9 and older games seem to be using any of my video cards hardware support under Windows Vista.

I have a Radeon x1800xt 512mb card under Vista Home Premium, all the latest drives and updates are installed.

None of my games are using.

anti-aliasing
anistrophic filtering
vsync
etc..

Why is this?

Do you mean that these settings are disabled in your ingame settings or even though they are enabled they dont seem to be having any effect?

Vista fully supports DX9 and DX10 so there is no reason why those settings wouldn't work.

i agree im using aa on a dx8 game with vista.
