[SOLVED] Slow system, please help.

My PC is only getting a score of around 6100 in 3dmark05. This doesn't make much sense to me.

Here are my PC stats:

Intel Core 2 Duo E6750 overclocked at 2.9ghz.
Gigabyte Nvidia 8600gt 256mb ddr3 overclocked to 680 core/ 870 mem.
2gb DDR2 memory.
7200rpm Maxtor 6Y160P0 8mb cache.
Nforce 650i P6N-SLI motherboard by MSI.
Windows XP SP2 32bit

My computer is well cooled, the processor seems to never go above 35C, and I have yet to see the video card go above 65C.

I forgot to mention I am running the 3dmark05 demo at 1024x768

I figured out the problem. It was a bad PCI-E slot.

Luckily my motherboard is SLI, and I am never going to use two video cards at once anytime within the next 6 years.

So I just put it into the second PCI-E slot and its working perfectly.

I recieved a score of near 13500 on 3dmark05.
