Re: Battle for Middle Earth II Please Help!

Ive tried compatibility mode, run as admin, and even disabling the UAC and nothing has worked.
The game loads and then this screen pops up (I will out up attachment) and then it simply stops running asking me to insert the correct cd-rom.

Re: Battle for Middle Earth II Please Help!

I'm having a somewhat similar problem. I have tried 2 different sets of disks to install Battle for Middle Earth II but when ever i try to run it all that happens is it pops up the original loading screen and just stops working... it times out and Vista pops up a run time error saying the game has stopped working. Ive updated my drivers for my NVIDIA GeForce 8500GT 512MB GC. and Ive also installed the newest Direct X. Nothing has seemed to work. Ive also tried to run Battle for Middle Earth I, and it wont run either. Neither will Crysis. All of which are EA games... but i do have other games (such as World of Warcraft) up and running. So any thoughts would be appreciated! thx!
