Gears of War PC

My laptop is an Aspire 5670 with the following specs:

Duo 1.83GHz processor

Ati Mobility Radeon X1400 512MB vid. card

Systemrequirementslab.com says my laptop can run it well above minimum, but I know it's not usually completely accurate.

Was wondering if my laptop could run Gears of War.

It can probably run it but not very well.

Do you know if Gears of War can be run in a window on PC? I really prefer windowed mode, as it allows me to IM and stuff, but also makes it easier to play.

I haven't played it myself so I don't know if a windowed mode exists. You'll generally see that in MMO games but rarely in FPS.
