Is Vista THAT important?
Is Windows Vista really THAT important?
Games like C&C3 and NFS: Pro Street say they require Windows Vista for good performance in the game. But why? Does the operating system really matter that much? for what reason? |

if you have those games,and they run ok on xp.i wouldnt worry about it.the main advantage vista brings to the table is direct x 10.

For now XP is the leading OS for gaming in the Microsoft OS industry. Like pharoah says Vista's only good for DX10 and yet for now DX9.0c runs games better.
Until support for XP runs out stick with it.
