Oblivion stopped working

Hello,

Not sure why, but I loaded Oblivion on my laptop and tried to play it. I received a message "A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you of a solution." I reloaded the program, just not sure if there is a setting or something in Vista that I need to look at to make it work or if I got a bad copy from Best Buy. Can you please advise?

Hi, and welcome to TSF.

What are the specs of your laptop? Oblivion requires some pretty high system specs, and laptops don't usually have them.

Click on "Common Game Issues" in my signature, and run through all the steps there. Post back with results.

whew your not kidding few laptop's can play oblivion proper.
