disk emulator software problems

My problem is that from old to new games some of them come up after installation with this message?? Don"t have the problem with all games just some. Examples being for old THief Deadly assasins, one of the newer ones being Pariah. Different manufacturers same problem. I am using an NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GT graphics card on Win xp 64bit pro edition. Please respond if more info is needed.

Hi, and welcome to TSF.

Are you using some kind of emulator software to run these games, or are they being installed and run from the original disc as normal?

Just using hte original cd.

do you have more than one cd/dvd drive?if so be sure to run the game from the one it was installed from.
