Crysis Problem

I need help with Crysis for some reason after a Vista crucial update some problems have arose.
1. It Often starts in Windowed Mode
2. If it starts in fullscreen mode as soon as i load a game the screen flashes and turns into windowed mode
3. I can not skip the video intros ever since the update
4. Playing Multiplayer in 32-bit mode constantly pauses (lag) then may decide to crash. (64-bit has never once crashed but i can not use it for MP)

I hope some of these issues can be sorted out.

what update was it and why do you not remove it?

what owned said sounds reasonable,but if that doesnt fix it.i would just try a reinstall of the game.

I dont really want to uninstall it as its a Security update. But EA has announced they are releasing a game patch in a few days. YAY
Also the lag issue i have found out, for some reason Crysis isnt dumping unused textures off the RAM on the new map change. I find if i join spectator mode and zoom around the map after 2 laps the lag has almost gone.

To the windowed mode problem (which is the most annoying) how could this be caused.

What security update is it, its probably dumb like a microsoft word security hole (umm....does that use the internet?)

For some reason its a XP-64bit patch but it has the same patch ID number. I think i will keep this one installed

oh i see does that affect vista? should you not be using that for dx 10?

Had no affect, And Windows was very determined to keep this update installed as when i uninstalled it Vista secretly sunk it back on my system. I had to disable Auto update.

not really remember the thread recently about microsoft's sneaky tricks.they will update your computer whether updates is on,or off.

Why's that? I'm running 64 bit Vista and i've successfully played with a 32 bit XP system???
