ANOTHER Call of Duty 4 Problem

OK I couldn't play COD 4 on my laptop so i tried putting it on my desktop. I have a Dell Intel P4 1g Ram Nvidia 6800 256mb 250g HD. I installed direct X10 and everything went fine, but when i go to start a new game, it loads good, then right before it goes to start the gameplay it gives me a bluescreen about the BIOS and i should turn of shadows or something. This really sucks i have 2 computers that are above the recommended requirements and the game doesnt work on either one!

Re: ANOTHER Call of Duty 4 Problem

ok thanks for the help, i tried to run the game this morning once my pc had cooled and it locked up again, but this time i gave me an error message that said i ran out of memory. My pc will go up to 4gb of ram, but why would i need more if i could run the first level, but once it starts the second one it crashes?
